A specialist 9 Channel 2.4GHz Radio Transmission and Receiver unit has been ordered for the Dragon Assassin™ Prototype. The prototype radio equipment will have enough channels to operate the tracked steering platform of the Dragon Assassin™ as well as providing full function for the robotic manipulator arm.

 

Although 2.4GHz will not be the frequency used by the military, it is perfectly good enough to be used during prototyping.

 

The radio controller will be housed inside a Peli Protector™ case alongside an LCD montor feeding images back from the onboard cameras.  Peli Protector™ cases are airtight, crushproof and waterproof and made from a special structural copolymer resin incorporating a pressure purge valve to allow pressure equalisation, perfect for unpressurised air transport.

 

We will be supplying these cases in three colours: Tactical Black, Desert Beige and Olive Drab.
